Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
